Excellent kitchen tool, perfect size December 21, 2008
Spider skimmers are larger than you think, but this one is the perfect size, fits into our smallest saucepan. A necessity for anyone who does a lot of boiling . . .

This is my 3rd skimmer. I really like this one and the larger one. I live on the Georgia coast & we do a lot of cooking outside all year round. These are great for Low Country Boils. We use it mostly for frying and boiling seafood, but it works great for veggies also.

I needed a kitchen spider, and after shopping around in some grocery stores, I couldn't find one that had a sturdy enougy handle. This is pretty much exactly what I was looking for.
